Thank you, Dave and Jeff. Eliminating my MPI macro definition
solved the problem.<br>

It's funny that it has only cropped up (so far) on my Mac OS X
installation. Looking around, I see that the MPI token wasn't used
in old versions of mpi.h. Will it eventually appear everywhere?<br>
