<p>I am trying to configure mpich 3.1.4 on Linux 4.1.3-201.fc22.x86_64 #1 SMP without success. The following was prompted:</p>

<p>checking the archiver (ar) interface... ar</p>
<p>checking build system type... config.sub: missing argument</p>
<p>Try `config.sub --help' for more information.</p>
<p>configure: error: /bin/sh /home/waldyd/mpich-3.1.4/confdb/config.sub failed</p>
