[mpich-announce] Announcing the availability of MPICH 4.0a1

A new alpha release of MPICH, 4.0a1, is now available for download. This is the first alpha release in the 4.0 series. This release adds implementations of many new APIs in the coming MPI 4.0 specification. Because the official MPI 4.0 specification is still in draft status, all the new API functions and symbols are implemented using MPIX prefix.



You can find the release on our downloads page (https://www.mpich.org/downloads/). Users are welcome to test this release.
