[mpich-discuss] building mpich2 with open64 compilers is difficult

We don't use or test with the open64 compilers, so it's not surprising if there are some problems.  WRT 1.2.1p1, we don't fix versions which are that old.  If it's not a problem in 1.5 or 3.0.1, especially for build system issues, then it's just unfortunate that the old version doesn't work.
