[mpich-discuss] trouble in 'make' stage

Hi,

Which version of libtool are you using? (libtool --version)

Please attach your libtool script located in the root building directory so 
that we can check what's going on on lines 6444-6445.

Also, the output of autogen.sh might be useful here.
