[mpich-discuss] Problem met when installing mpich on a linux server

Are you installing mpich on an NFS mounted directory?  My guess is that the time stamps are screwed up.  Can you delete the mpich directory and untar from the tarball once again?

> Which version of mpich are you using?  This typically happens when you have a timestamp mismatch and make thinks it needs to rerun autotools.  You can try passing --disable-maintainer-mode to configure to help with that.
