Siegmar,

I was able to reproduce the issue on my machine. Libtool seems to not be 
able to handle the rpath value specified in LDFLAGS in combination with 
its own rpath setting. Modifying your configure time LDFLAGS like this 
should allow you to complete the build:

LDFLAGS=-m64 -L/usr/lib/amd64 -Wl,-rpath -Wl,/usr/lib/amd64

I'm going to keep investigating, though, why this only appears in this 
specific configuration.
