Hi,
for information, the OpenIndiana project has now updated MPICH to 3.2,
compiled with GCC (4.9.3):

http://pkg.openindiana.org/hipster-2015/en/search.shtml?token=mpich%2Fgcc

The package provides both 32- and 64-bit versions as well as module files
for environment-modules.
Best regards

Aurelien
