[mpich-discuss] Failed to compile MPICH3 v3.2a2-115-g93e816cc on Power755 (Power7/Linux)

Try building MPICH with GCC, for which I know a POWER7 version exists.
GCC supports inline asm properly and you can use the resulting library with
XLC codes, thanks to the beauty of C ABI interoperability.  For Fortran,
use CC=gcc, FC=xlf_r.
