Thanks for that data point. I am using the native clang compilers. I dug into the issue as there was an assertion:
Assertion failed in file src/mpid/ch4/netmod/ofi/ofi_init.c at line 1988: mapped_table[i] != FI_ADDR_NOTAVAIL
And it is related to this issue: https://github.com/pmodels/mpich/issues/5041
I added the "--with-device=ch3” to my configure and happy to report that I am able to run in parallel.
