[mpich-discuss] problems with installing mpich: library missed

Hello,

Do you need MPICH or MVAPICH?  These are different MPI implementations and you seem to be confusing between the two.

You shouldn’t see any libpmi.so and liblimic2.so is MVAPICH specific.
