[mpich-discuss] mpich 3.1 configure hangs on darwin 10.9.2 with gcc 4.9

I noticed you used gcc (GCC) 4.9.0 20140309 (experimental). gcc4.9 was
released on Apr. 22, 2014.
Could you try a stable gcc release?
