Hi Siegmar,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I've created ticket 2168
(https://trac.mpich.org/projects/mpich/ticket/2168#ticket) to track
these issues down. Unfortunately I don't have a Sparc machine to test
on, but I'll do what I can on x86-64.
