[mpich-discuss] How many ports for MPIEXEC_PORT_RANGE?

Hello together,

I have to restrict the port range with MPIEXEC _PORT_RANGE. Does anyone know how many ports are necessary to establish a communication between two hosts? On host1 only one process and  on host2 two processes are running.
