[mpich-discuss] Application aborts at runtime

Hi Rajeev,

Thanks for the reference to the relevant section of MPI 3.1 standard.

As mentioned in the standard it specifies only the least value of upper
bound which is 32767.  An MPI implementation is free to set a high value of
MPI_TAG_UB.

So can this upper bound value (MPI_TAB_UB) be increased to allow higher tag
values?
